Event Content

AgriLIVE Smithfield is a pure technical business event, focused on the business of producing animals effectively and efficiently to meet the requirements of the end customer.

Focus areas will provide information and the latest practical advice on:

  • Technology in livestock production - A showcase of all the latest technology available to help farmers manage their livestock and business. Ranging from scanning technology to machinery and IT
  • Business advice centre - Focusing on a range of issues from general business advice to specific technical services this is a separately branded area of the event tackling key issues for producers
  • Quality meat production - Led by EBLEX this area will highlight a range of factors which affect the price producers are paid for their livestock, focusing on quality and consistency. Butchery and quality meat processing on a smaller scales along with science and technology developments from further up the supply chain will be included in this area
  • Dairy beef - An extremely important part of the red meat supply chain, we will be identifying the opportunities for dairy beef, showcasing viable systems for dairy beef animals
  • Forums and workshops - Industry wide discussions with high profile speakers will headline the forum programme, supported by smaller, more focused workshops addressing a range of issues from farm health planning to regulations compliance.
